Questions about the Maven Meals Franchise Program?

What experience do I need to become a Maven Meals franchise owner?

Our ideal franchise owners have a passion for food and a mind for logistics. We seek enthusiastic, financially qualified individuals who are business builders, who are comfortable leading a team, and are excited about our brand. We’ll provide the training, tools, and guidance you need to start a meal delivery business and operate it effectively. We can’t wait to welcome you!

What is provided as part of the Maven Meals franchise program?

We provide everything you need to feel confident about opening your Maven Meals business. You will start with our in-house training program for up to three team members at our flagship location in Washington state. The duration of the training is 6 weeks for the Operating Principal and GM, and 4 weeks for the Kitchen Lead with a combination of classroom and on-the-job training. We will then provide an onsite representative for ten days beginning at the launch of your business. In addition, we will present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you start a meal delivery business you will be excited about and run it properly on a day-to-day basis.

How much will the Maven Meals franchise program investment cost me?

The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $259,900 to $468,200 for a single location. This includes a $40,000 initial franchise fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

Is financing available?

We do not provide direct financing to franchisees, but we may refer to financing sources on a case by case basis.

Are there ongoing fees to pay?

We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of weekly gross revenue. Franchisees also contribute $100 per week for a technology fee. (The technology fee may be raised to $300 per week, with 30-days notice given to the franchise owner.) Franchisees will contribute 1% to 3% of gross revenue to the system marketing fund and are required to commit 2% to local marketing. Collected marketing fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of marketing tools, recipes, training programs, and systems upgrades. What is the term of the agreement?

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
